A Delhi court will today continue the hearing on the bail plea by former MLA Rambir Shokeen.
The Delhi police had earlier filed its reply on Shokeen's bail plea.
In November 2016, a Delhi court sent former Shokeen, who was chargesheeted along with alleged gangster Neeraj Bawana and others in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), to three days police custody to unearth the larger conspiracy.
Earlier on September 2016, a chargesheet was filed against gangster Neeraj Bawana, Shokeen and others, accusing them of running a crime syndicate in the national capital.
Besides Neeraj and Shokeen, the police chargesheeted Neerajs elder brother Pankaj Sehrawat and other arrested members of the syndicate -- Sunil Rathi, Amit Malik alias Bhura, Naveen Dabas, Rahul Dabas, Naveen Hooda, Deepak Dabas and Gurpreet Singh in the case.
