The Patiala House Court in Delhi will today hear Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and MP Subramaniam Swamy's plea seeking prosecution of Tata Sons interim chairman Ratan Tata, former telecom minister A Raja, Niira Radia and others in 2G spectrum allocation scam.

Swamy had filed a criminal complaint in the scam last year.

Filing a case in a special 2G court before special judge O P Saini, Swamy alleged in the complaint that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had purposely left out Ratan Tata, former corporate lobbyist Niira Radia and others in case.

Swamy had also sought action against Unitech MD Sanjay Chandra, other officials of his firm and the CBI personnel who allegedly did not probe the matter properly.

The complaint seeks their prosecution under sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) including 409 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 463 (forgery) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and under the relevant provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
