The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) launched its much-awaited scheme offering new flats to the people here on Monday.
"Today we have formally launched the scheme. I have told the DDA officials that the challenge before us now is to give good quality flats on time after allotment to the allottees and the work must be done properly,' said DDA Vice-Chairman Balvinder Kumar while speaking on the occasion.
"This is a scheme of 25,034 total flats and the brochure has been issued today. The sale of these brochures will continue till October 9 this year and we hope that the draw will be completed within 15-20 days. The unsuccessful applicants will get back their money," he added.
Scores of enthusiastic people turned up at Vikas Sadan, the DDA's office, soon after the launch of this scheme.
