A BJP delegation met President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday to discuss the ongoing constitutional crisis in the Delhi Government and sought his intervention in the matter.
"We had a satisfactory meeting with the President. We informed him about deadlock which has happened in Delhi. We also told him that there is major constitutional crisis in Delhi and asked him to intervene in the matter," BJP leader Vijender Gupta told ANI.
Asserting that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was acting according to the Constitution, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia earlier in the day said he was confident that relations between all officials and
Ministers are very cordial and constructive.
"We are sure what we are doing is according to the Constitution. Transfer postings became an industry in Delhi and we stopped that, that's why people are opposing us," Sisodia told media persons here.
"Can confidently say that relations between all officials and ministers are very cordial and constructive," he added.

His comments come in the backdrop of the Delhi IAS Officers' Association resolution yesterday urging Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Union Home Minister
Rajnath Singh to create a conducive atmosphere where officers can function in a free and impartial manner.
Yesterday, Sisodia had written to the Lieutenant Governor asking him under what provisions of the Constitution was he issuing directions to the AAP Government.
The deputy chief minister, in a letter to Jung, had sought information on the provisions of the Constitution, the GNCT Act and the TBR which provide the latter power to issue such directions to the Delhi Government.
Jung had earlier reiterated his executive powers and authority over administering the affairs of the capital city vis-a-vis the authority and powers to be exercised by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal under the Constitution. In his letter, Jung had written that he had 'constitutional power to do transfers and postings'.
