The Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking a court monitored CBI probe in the land deals of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra.
The court had reserved its order on July 9 after hearing brief arguments of the petitioner M L Sharma, who is also an advocate, and had filed the plea in his personal capacity.
Businessmen Vadra, who married Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Gandhi in 1997, has denied the accusations leveled by anti-corruption activists, of improper dealings with DLF. In fact, the government also ruled out an inquiry in the case.
