The Delhi High Court on Tuesday restricted conducting of any type of protests in front of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Civil lines residence in the national capital.
A petition was filed by the residents of Civil Lines which asked for restrictions on the protests and agitations outside the Chief Minister's house as it caused inconvenience to them.
The High Court passed the petition filed by Lawyer Sanjay K. Chadha on behalf of the residents and directed the police to restrict 'Dharnas' in Civil Lines.
The court also mentioned that the RWA has the leverage to get back to the court if the police fails to follow its directions.
