Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Najeeb Jung on Wednesday held a meeting with officials to review the prices of essential items like onions and potatoes.

A statement issued by Raj Niwas declared that onion and potato stock at SAFAL outlets

would be doubled, and in addition to that, 60 to 70 mobile vans would move across Delhi and sell onions and potatoes at government determined rates.

Inflation is at its five-month high, which has prompted Lt. Gov. Jung to take this step.
