Delhi Metro to start feeder bus service from Shivaji Stadium for Airport Express line

The Delhi Metro is all set to start a dedicated feeder bus service from the Shivaji Stadium metro station of the Airport Express line from tomorrow.

The route of this feeder bus service will cover approximately 13 kilometers and will be- Shivaji Stadium - Patel Chowk metro station - Akashwani Bhawan - Krishi Bhawan - Patiala House - High Court - Pragati Maidan - Supreme Court - ITO - Delhi Gate - New Delhi Airport metro station - Minto Road - Statesman House - Shivaji Stadium.

Initially, this route will be operated on a trial basis with three non-AC buses at a frequency of about 20 minutes with fare similar to non-AC DTC buses, Rs 5 for travel up to four kilometers, Rs 10 for travel from four to ten kilometers and Rs 15 for more than ten kilometers.

The number of buses will be increased depending upon the response of public on this route.

The feeder bus service will be available from 8 am to 8 pm daily.

At present, the Delhi Aero City metro station of the Airport Express Line is also running feeder bus services to facilitate the movement of passengers from the Aero City station to Terminal-1 of the Domestic Airport and vice versa.
