Delhi will observe fourth 'Car-Free Day' on Friday between 8a.m. to 4p.m. on the stretch between Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station and Chhatrasal Stadium.

The event aims at encouraging people to use public transport instead of using their cars. To mark the occasion, a cycle rally will start from Gate 3 of the station in which ministers and officers will participate.

The programme is being organised under 'Ab Bus Karein' campaign to make Delhi free of traffic jams and vehicular pollution.

The Delhi Government has decided to organise such events on the 22nd day of every month.

On the day, additional DTC buses will be plying on the designated route of the area.
