Scorned Fashion designer John Galliano has finally opened up about his anti-Semitic attack of 2011 at a couple in Paris, his alcoholism and subsequent rehab stay.

Galliano, who was one of the most significant forces in the fashion world, has revealed in the July issue of Vanity Fair that when everyone told him about the terrible things he had done, he was walking round and round and round not really knowing what had gone down, the New York Daily News reported.

He claimed that when he saw his videotaped outburst that landed him in handcuffs, he threw up.

Galliano, who checked in rehab in Arizona in March 2011, alleged in his first-ever sober interview that he is not an anti-Semite, despite his earlier words.

The 52-year-old Brit said that the insults and praising Hitler was the worst things he has said in his life, but he didn't mean it.

He also asserted that he has been trying to find out why that anger was directed at that particular race.

Galliano, who lost his post at Dior over the attack, added that he was so angry and discontent with himself that he just said the most spiteful thing he could.
