Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Thursday said that Congress leader Digvijay Singh should focus on his wedding plans rather than on BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
"Digvijay Singh should worry about his next wedding, he should focus on that and not on Modi, who is soon going to be the prime minister of the country," said Swamy.
"The person he is intent on marrying still hasn't got a divorce therefore he needs to deal with these issues first. He should go on a honeymoon," he said.
Earlier in the day, Singh had said that he does not hide his relationship like Modi who had been hiding the truth about his marriage and added that the latter is a coward.
"I don't hide my relationship, which Mr. Modi does. I am not a coward. My relationship is a private matter that I have made public," said Singh.
"Modi is a coward as he has hidden his wife for years, but I have the courage and conviction to face the consequences for what I have said and done," he added.
