Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been acquitted in a case related to an 18-year-old civil dispute of having direct association with the concerned company's transactions or daily work.
The Girgaum court in Mumbai pronounced the judgement in this regard.
"The court has held that the complainant could not prove Dilip Kumar (director of the company) and his associate's involvement in the day-to-day transactions of the company, hence, he has been acquitted," Hasmukh Shah, one of the lawyers, said.
The lawyer added that there were four accused in the concerned case, out of which two have been convicted and two released.
Though it was anticipated that the 94-year-old actor would be present during the hearing despite his ill health, there was no one present both from the complainant or Dilip Kumar's side.
"When the court gave the verdict, there was no one present from the complainant's side or Dilip Kumar's side," Shah said.
