Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has admitted that his side are lacking in confidence and going through an extremely bad period following their 1-2 defeat at home to Norwhich City in Premier League.
Expressing his views on United's first defeat of the season at Old Trafford, the Dutchman insisted that there was an immediate need to come out of this situation.
Van Gaal urged his side to stick together, adding that it was extremely important to achieve success in the club,Sport24 reported.
Speaking on the upcoming match, the 64-year-old called on his side to show professional attitude in order to regain the lost confidence.
He further urged United to evaluate the situation and prepare according to it.
United have gone six games without a win and are currently nine points behind the leaders Leicester City in league standings.
With the first defeat at home, United have also slipped out of the top four ahead of their next match against Stoke City on December 26.
