A discount shop in east London caught fire and almost 100 firefighters and officers were pressed to douse it.
"Shocking photos posted on social media showed smoke billowing out of Poundland on Old Church Road, Chingford," reported Daily star.
Most of the ground floor was alight.
The whole of the first floor and roof was gutted by the fire.
London Fire Brigade tweeted, "We continue to battle the fire at #Chingford discount store with flats above. Whole of the first floor and roof is destroyed."
Fire has caused severe damage to the Poundland.

However, no injuries have been reported.
The Fire Brigade assured the presence throughout the night.
"#Chingford blaze has severely damaged Poundland but thankfully no injuries. We'll be there throughout the night," London Fire Brigade tweeted.
The cause of the fire is not known yet.
