Disney bosses have confirmed that sequel to the Oscar winning animated film 'Frozen' is in the works.
The company took to Twitter, and wrote "Forecast: Winter weather ahead!
@DisneyAnimation developing #Frozen2," accompanied by a picture of lead characters Elsa and Anna, with Sven the reindeer and Kristoff, the BBC reported.
Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee would return to helm the sequel, and Lee tweeted that she was "beyond excited" to create 'Frozen 2' alongside the 'Frozen' family.
There's also a 7-minute follow-up film titled 'Frozen Fever,' which would be shown at screenings of new Disney film 'Cinderella,' in cinemas later this month.
'Frozen' was one of the highest-grossing animation of all time, and the 5th biggest film overall, and had claimed two Oscars in 2014, one for best animated feature and for best original song for 'Let It Go.
