World number one Novak Djokovic recorded a straight set win against Luxembourg's Gilles Muller to advance to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open on Monday.
Djokovic beat Muller 6-4, 7-5, 7-5 to advance to set up a quarterfinal clash against big-hitting Canadian Milos Raonic, who defeated Spain's Feliciano Lopez 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (9-7), 6-3 in a tough five-setter.
The Serb fought his way through a resilient Muller, who gave the world number one tough challenge, but ultimately defeated the 2008 US Open quarterfinalist to reach his 23rd consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinal.
Djokovic fired 13 aces in reply of Muller's seven on his way to the quarterfinal of the Australian Open.
