World number one Novak Djokovic produced a rich vein of form as he stormed into the third round of the Shanghai Masters with straight sets victory over Martin Klizan on Wednesday.
The Serbian claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win over his error-prone Slovakian opponent Klizan in a contest that lasted one hour and three minutes.
Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal overcame big serving Ivo Karlovic 7-5, 6-7(4), 7-6(4) in a closely-fought second round encounter that lasted two hours and 43 minutes.
