World No. 2 Novak Djokovic and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov advanced to the last eight in Wimbledon after defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Leonardo Mayer in straight sets respectively.

Djokovic defeated Frenchman Tsonga 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) to set up a last eight round with Marin Cilic after the Croat beat Jeremy Chardy to make his first Wimbledon quarterfinal.

According to the BBC, Dimitrov defeated Argentine Mayer 6-4, 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 in a rain-interrupted match and will now face defending champion Andy Murray.

The Bulgarian said that he and Murray get along pretty good, adding that his team and the defending champion's team are on good terms and there are always jokes between them.

Dimitrov said that off the court is one thing; on it is another, adding that his upcoming match would be exciting and hopefully there would be no hard feelings after the match.

Djokovic, who could meet the winner in the semi-finals, said that he is feeling good, adding that he had two days off and recovered a little bit.

Djokovic also said that he had a couple of tough matches last week, so it was good to win against Tsonga in straight sets.
