Competitive world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has given a glimpse of his soft side, saying that he would like to hang out more with his fellow modern greats in the sport but insisted that their competitive spirits don't often allow it.
Djokovic said that with some players he does see them out of working hours but added that unfortunately with the top players, some say that it is not possible, but he believes that it can be possible that they get to go on dinners.
However, the Serb said that he understands this kind of mindset that if one is great rivals there is a sense of competition that makes it hard to be open and friendly and go out for dinner or holiday trips, News.com.au reported.
Djokovic said that the time might come for them after they are done with their active careers but added that they have to consider the fact that he has seen Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, more than his own mother over the past five, six years so that's why he considers them very close in his life.
