'Downton Abbey's' end might be nigh after the season 6, according to the PBS Chief Paula Kerger.
PBS declined to discuss the future of the period drama beyond next January's Season 6, at Winter TV Press Tour 2015, Deadline.com reported.
As it stands, the series writer and creator Julian Fellowes was contracted to go as far as a sixth season, however, according to Kerger, they are not yet going beyond that.
Though she did not confirm or deny whether Season 6 would be the final for the popular PBS drama.
