Former world number one golfer Tiger Woods has landed himself in hot water on social media as he talked about popping a bone back on his injured right hand during the final round of the Masters on Sunday.
Following an errant drive at the ninth hole, Woods struck a hidden tree root while hitting his second shot off the pine straw. He screamed in pain and let the club fly out of his hand.
The American shook his hand walking toward the green but managed to salvage par on the way to a closing 1-over 73, to finish in a tie for 17th, 13 shots adrift of champion Jordan Spieth, News.com.au reported.
Afterward, while talking about the injury, Woods said that the bone popped out and his not so professional diagnosis led to plenty of derisive responses on Twitter.
A Twitter user posted a small clip of the part when Woods got injured and posted that no worries as 'Dr. Tiger Woods' claimed that he just had a bone pop out, but the golfer put it back in place.
A doctor tweeted that Woods must have misspoken as there is no way to finish round if a bone popped out in wrist and put back in, adding that he is a great golfer but not a doctor.
Another user tweeted that anyone else called 'BS' on Woods' wrist bone comment.

However, leaving aside the wrist injury, Woods said that he was proud of the way he played at Augusta National, finishing with a 5-under 283 in his first tournament since he walked off the course at Torrey Pines in early February, his body hurting and his game a mess.
Meanwhile, Jordan Spieth won the 2015 Masters tournament to clinch the maiden Major title of his career at 21 years of age to become the second youngest golfer after Woods to achieve the feat.
