Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader Mayank Gandhi on Saturday said that his former colleagues Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan must set aside their egos and rejoin the party for betterment of the nation.
"I think Prashant and Yogendra would have a lot of value. I agree that there have been differences, there have been .may be persuading justices, some hurt, some ego clashes but the nation is much bigger than an individual and I think all three are matured enough to absorb whatever has happened like Anna Ji used to say you need to drink the poison for the betterment of the country and this is the right time for them to come back and make a united AAP as it is before, "Gandhi told ANI here.
"I know there are raw wounds and everyone is hurt and there is anger. But at some stage I think all of them have the maturity to understand and they must be given a very honorable way back into the party They would add value to this country and a country is much bigger than any of them or all of them together," he added.
Bhushan had yesterday in a tweet said that 'after abusing' and 'orchestrating' a physical attack by his MLAs in the NC meeting, Kejriwal wants us back! Hypocrite Shameless!"
He tweeted after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he would be happy if the activist-lawyer, along with Yogendra Yadav, returned to the party fold.
Bhushan and Yadav were sacked earlier in April for 'anti-party activities'.
