Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called US drone attacks in Pakistani territory as 'unacceptable' and violates the country's sovereignty and international laws.
The recent drone attack in northwest Pakistan, which welcomed Sharif's third term as the PM, left seven people dead.
Sharif said Pakistan's sovereignty must be respected, and that it was necessary to work out a joint strategy to stop US drone strikes.
He further said that these attacks 'must stop' and the nation has protested against it many times earlier as well, reports Daily Times.
According to the report, Sharif in his meeting with German Foreign Minister Dr. Guldo Westerwelle, said that Pakistan considers Germany as a 'close friend' and looks forward to strengthening the ties between the two countries.
