Drone strike kills eight suspected militants in North Waziristan

A drone strike claimed the lives of at least eight suspected in the Dattakhel area of North Waziristan on Saturday.

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fired two missiles on a compound in Doga Madakhel village of Dattakhel around 36 kilometers west of North Waziristan's capital Miramshah at around 3 a .m. today, the Dawn quoted intelligence sources, as saying.

The militants killed belonged to the Punjabi Taliban faction of the Pakistani Taliban.

The identity of those killed is yet to be ascertained.
