The University of Mysore (UoM) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Guru Hargobind Institute of Management and Information Technology Delhi and Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Information Technology Punjabi Bagh for starting specialized courses in MBA, LLM,BCA and BBM in New Delhi.
Manjit Singh GK, President Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, which runs both institutes, said that the syndicate of the University of Mysore (UoM) has approved to provide recognition to Guru Hargobind Institute of Management and Information Technology Delhi and Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Information Technology Punjabi Bagh to start all these courses in their respective campus .from current academic session.
The admission process for students to all these courses have already been started and the regular teaching will begin from July next during current academic session.
The examination section of The University of Mysore will conduct the examination for all these academic courses as per regulation approved by academic council of the university and university will provide marks, card, degree certificates etc. to the successful candidates which shall be at par with regular programs of the university, said Manjit Singh GK.
He said the University of Mysore has granted approval for intake of 60 students in BBM,60 students in BCA,20 students in LLM and 60 students in MBA courses for each academic year .The University of Mysore (UoM) will provide degrees or diplomas etc. to the students enrolled in both the prestigious institutes.
The academic syllabus, teaching ,project work ,lab work, field work etc will be as per the regulation approved by Academic Council of The University of Mysore.The University of Mysore syndicate will fix the fee for each course from time to time and fee structure for NRI and foreign students will be higher in comparison to Indian students said Manjit Singh GK.
