Dustin Hoffman has recently revealed that he is smitten by Judi Dench and wants to make a romantic blockbuster with her.
The 77-year-old said that if he was younger, would have never let the 'Philomena' actress get away, the Mirror reported.
'The Graduate' actor, who has watched some of Dench's earliest performances online, hopes that there must be some way to do a love story where the pair meet in their twenties but yet they are acting as they are now.
The two Hollywood stars will be appearing together on the BBC's Christmas adaptation of Esio Trot by Roald Dahl.
Hoffman plays retired bachelor Mr Hoppy, who is secretly in love with his neighbour, Mrs Silver, played by Dame Judi, who lavishes all her affection on her pet tortoise Alfie in the one-off adaptation by Richard Curtis.
