Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko has declared that Chelsea represent the biggest threat to the Premier League title defenders this season.
The champions face a major test of their character over the next fortnight with games against Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea in their pursuit of domestic and European success. That trio of games could go a long way to shaping City's season and striker Dzeko admitted that Manuel Pellegrini's side faces a huge test of their collective strength.
Dzeko said that it would be difficult, but he is an optimist, and added that as with every season, there are several teams that will battle for the title of champions in England, The Mirror reported.
The Bosnia Herzegovina captain said that this season Chelsea might be the most serious challenger, but City must not ignore Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, or Manchester United, who would certainly be much stronger than last year.
The forward said that after all, everyone has got stronger, and everyone wants to be first.
