An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit the north Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir on Saturday morning.
As of now, no casualties or damages have been reported.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the depth of the quake was 10 kilometres.
It resulted in jolts for a few seconds across most parts of the state.
An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Jammu and Kashmir in February.
