To celebrate the power of voters', Chief Election Commissioner H.S. Brahma will inaugurate the 'Matdata Mahotsav' at the Dilli Haat in South Delhi today.
The event will showcase India as a vibrant and performing democracy. The event will include a photo exhibition, capturing some special moments from the beginning of general elections to the 16th Lok Sabha.
Queries on registration and voting will be answered and the electoral process explained at a model of a polling station and facilitation centre.
The Matdata Mahotsav comes ahead of the fifth National Voters' Day, which will be observed on January 25.
