The Bihar government is working to ensure peace and rule of law in Munger after clashes occurred between two communities in the city, District Magistrate Uday Kumar Singh said on Thursday.
Security personnel also conducted a flag march in the city after the incident.
Singh said, "We are working to ensure peace and rule of law in the city. The situation is completely normal and will remain so."
The clashes, erupted in Bhagalpur on March 17, have reportedly spread to seven more districts in the state.
