English off-spinner Moeen Ali has insisted that his side is having no emotional scars and have moved ahead of the loss they suffered at Lord's in the second Ashes Test.
Ali said that there was any psychological damage but the sad thing was they didn't show any fight, the Daily Express reported.
He added that the hosts need to show a bit more steel and fight even if they are going to lose.
He insisted that the inclusion of Jonny Bairstow in the line-up would strengthen their batting. But he believed that out-of-form Ian Bell would come good in the coming Tests and would star with the added responsibility of coming in first wicket down.
England suffered a humiliating 405-run defeat at the hands of the Ashes holders at the Mecca of Cricket and since then have been facing criticism from the cricket fraternity.
Chasing a daunting target of 509, England were bundled out for a dismal 103 in mere 37 overs as Australia levelled the five-match series 1-1 in an imperious style and since then, the English team, especially the batters, have been facing criticism from the cricket fraternity.
