England ODI team vice-captain Jos Buttler has urged his side to 'lose the fear of failure' and have an aggressive approach to reach New Zealand's one-day international benchmark this summer.

Buttler has asked his team-mates to be unashamed copy cats of the Kiwis when they face them in the upcoming five-match ODI series, starting from June 9.

He said the Lions need to lose the fear of failure, and guys who are coming in must play exactly the same way at international level as they have at county level, the Guardian reports.

The wicket-keeper batsman also said that it was about giving guys responsibility and freedom to go and play.

He insisted that New Zealand team was very aggressive, so it was great for them to come up against the Kiwis.

Ian Bell, Stuart Broad, Jimmy Anderson and Gary Ballance have been dropped from the ODI squad for building in a youthful line-up towards the 2017 Champions Trophy and 2019 World Cup on home soil.
