An English rugby player was reportedly knocked unconscious after he was punched by a teammate in a pub in Bath.
According to Sky News, the alleged fracas, in which Gavin Henson, a new signing of the Aviva Premiership club, was involved, was caught by a video in the Pig and Fiddle pub on Wednesday night, which was then released to the media.
Although the report said that police had received a call from the bar reporting 'aggressive behaviour' that night, no offences are being investigated as the group left the pub while the caller was on the line.
Confirming the incident, the club stated that Bath Rugby is investigating into the incident, which also involved few other members of the playing squad.
Bath is Henson's fifth club in the space of two years as he seeks to revive a career that promised much in his youth, with the report adding that Henson had two Grand Slams but has not represented his country since winning the last of his 33 caps in 2011.
