Ethnic dresses became the latest fashion in the new language of trade talks as traders participated with emerging enthusiasm, varied collections and encouraging trends in the ongoing International Ethnic Week (IEW) in Goa.
The IEW began on Sunday, where more than 1,000 traders indulged in the business-to-business conferences against the backdrop of fashion shows displaying various ethnic wear brands.
The ongoing IEW includes 400 international visitors joining hands, providing Business to Business (B2B) platform for buyers and the sellers.
"We invite buyers from different places. There are counters of the manufacturers. The buyers and manufacturers have a face to face interaction. The end result of all this is bulk business or we can say business promotion or branding," said co-founder of Surat Dreams, Hitesh Jain.
At the IEW, Bangladesh is the focus country with more than 130 traders from the nation arriving at the event.
"For the people who are invited here, they come here for purchasing fabrics, all kinds of fabrics and unstitched three-piece women suits," said a manufacturer from Bangladesh, Mohammed Wahid Murad.
