Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has reportedly revealed how bringing veteran footballer Ryan Giggs to be the club's interim manager, after David Moyes' sacking, has 'inspired' the squad.

Evra has claimed that Giggs along with the interim boss' former teammate Paul Scholes, who has been appointed as a part of United's coaching staff by the veteran footballer, has already had a positive effect on him and his teammates.

According to the Mirror, Evra said that it is really natural to watch the Welsh professional footballer take charge of United because he always felt, ever since the French international started playing for the club, that a player like Giggs inspires one.

Evra said that Giggs and Scholes inspire the young players, senior players and one can see people fighting more for their place, to make sure that they are picked for the time.

Evra said that Giggs has got the respect from everyone straight away, because he is someone from the club and someone who has won every trophy within United.

Evra said that he is very happy with the new interim manager, but also said that he does not know why Scholes took so long to return to the club, as everyone really missed him.

The French international said that when he sees Scholes it reminds him of when they played against Manchester City in the FA Cup in 2012 and Evra saw him train with the United squad.
