Former New Zealand cricketers Sir Richard Hadlee, Martin Snedden and Geoff Allott have reportedly been elected to the board of directors in New Zealand Cricket (NZC), which will guide the country's preparations to co-host the 2015 Cricket World Cup with neighbours Australia.

The report mentioned that Snedden is a former NZC chief executive who also headed the organisation that ran the 2011 Rugby World Cup, while Allott is a former general manager of cricket for NZC.

According to Sport24, Hadlee is also a former board member of the NZC, adding that the eight board members were elected at a meeting of New Zealand's major and district cricket associations in Auckland on Thursday.

The report further said that the other elected directors include company directors Neil Craig and Liz Dawson and incumbents Stuart Heal, Don Mackinnon and Greg Barclay.
