A number of former Australian Test cricket greats are reportedly putting up their properties on the market, which has coincided with the cricket season in the country.
The latest such household name is Mark Waugh, who, with his race-horse trainer wife, Kim, is selling his 580,000-dollar, 10,100-square-metre, master-built, four-bedroom home, which has a pool, district views and a dam, to buy something larger to accommodate their growing equine interests.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, former Test cricketer Michael Slater's home sold for 3.2 million-dollar home in October, and more recently retired Test captain Ricky Ponting has sold his waterfront home for close to 4.5 million dollars.
The report mentioned that Waugh's twin and fellow family Test cricketer Steve Waugh also traded up in March when he paid 4,275,000 dollars for a waterfront home.
