Josh Rohatinsky, a former runner, who trained under Alberto Salazar, has backed the "full extent" of doping allegations made by the BBC against his ex-coach.
A BBC investigation alleged that Salazar, who was hired as Mo Farah's coach in 2011, doped United States 10,000 metre record holder Galen Rupp in 2002, when the athlete was 16-years-old, after which Farah had decided to pull out of the Diamond League race in Birmingham.
Rohatinsky, who ran at the Nike Oregon Project between July 2007 and July 2009, made a Facebook post saying that he believed the testimonies of other former members of Salazar's training group and that he thought Galen Rupp's improvement from 2006 to 2012 was "highly suspicious", the Guardian reported.
In his post, he also said that he absolutely believed the full extent of the evidence brought forth in the report/documentary by all the witnesses - the Gouchers, John Stiner, and Steve Magness, adding that he knew the Gouchers personally and thanked them for their work on this.
However, Salazar has refuted all the allegations made against him, and said he can prove that his accusers are 'knowingly making false statements'.
