Former world heavyweight champion David Haye, who was dubbed as the 'Hayemaker', is reportedly set on returning to boxing and wants to be back in the ring by October after he retired from the sport in November last year.

Haye, who underwent a shoulder surgery for ruptured tendons and was advised by the doctors not to box again, has been training in the gym recently and is now ready to fight again.

According to the Daily Express, Haye's trainer Adam Booth confirmed the boxer's comeback saying that the Briton is now on the road to recovery.

Booth said that it is 100 percent true that Haye is coming back, adding that they would not be making any big announcement but the Englishman has been given clear by his medical people and he wants to fight again.

Booth said that they plan to get back in the ring before the end of the year and preferably by October, adding that Haye has started training and there is no need to keep this secret any longer.

The Englishman's trainer also said that Haye has got the full range of movement in his shoulder after undergoing the best treatment available. Booth said that they have been very careful not to rush anything and yet they are obviously delighted with the outcome.

The former WBA world heavyweight and undisputed world cruiserweight champion Haye last boxed in July 2012 when he easily disposed of Brit boxer Dereck Chisora inside five rounds, the report added.
