After Pakistan's batting line-up collapsed in the second innings of the first Test against West Indies, Pakistan cricket head coach Mickey Arthur has asserted that he has high expectations from the team to perform well in the upcoming Test match.
Talking to DawnNews in the United Arab Emirates, Arthur expressed hope that the team will improve in the second test against the Caribbean squad,
However, Arthur stated that the performance of the team has been satisfactory in recent Test series.
"The performance of the team in England was very motivating, and the motivation can drive the team for years," said Arthur.
Heaping praises on Yasir Shah, the coach said that he will be a "champion bowler for Pakistan in the future as he is an exceptional bowler".
"The upcoming tours of Australia and New Zealand will be the real test for the team, but I am looking forward to the challenge along with the team," Arthur added.
The remaining two Tests of the series against the West Indies will be played in Abu Dhabi (October 21-25) and Sharjah (October 30-November 3).
