The English Football Association (FA) has reportedly charged Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho with improper conduct for his behaviour during his side's win against Cardiff City on Saturday.
Mourinho, who refused to carry out media duties at the weekend, was ordered from the technical area by a referee after he protested about apparent time-wasting, and sat with supporters behind the Chelsea dugout after his dismissal.
According to the BBC, the Portuguese, who has two days to respond to the charge, said that it was not funny to be with the fans, adding that it was frustrating for him as he was unable to communicate with the players.
Mourinho further said that had he been a fan, he would have been worried over the fact that every time the ball was out or stopped and the opponent had to put the ball back in the game, it took an average of 21.5 seconds, which he added, is a waste of time and money for the fan.
According to Mourinho, when that average is multiplied by the number of times the game was stopped, it can be found that although a fan pays for 90 minutes of the game, he can see only 50 or 60 minutes, adding that for him, that is breaking the rules.
