Facebook has announced that it is combining its app install ads with deep linking to ensure that a specific in-app purchase page opens once the app downloads.
Earlier, if a business wanted to sell a product through a mobile app, mobile users had to download the app and then follow through into the app to make a purchase highlighted by the ad.
According to the TechCrunch, now Facebook is allowing deep linking which sends user directly to a specific in-app purchase page when the app is downloaded.
The new feature could help Facebook increase its ads revenue which was USD 3.32 billion in the last quarter.
