Fake accounts on the dating application Tinder have been set up using pictures of models with cuts and bruises as part of a campaign against sex trafficking.
The scheme has been planned by Dublin-based advertising agency EightyTwenty and the Immigrant Council of Ireland, reported the Independent.
The profiles initially display attractive pictures of a person but when users swipe to see more photos, they see pictures of people who are subjected to sex trafficking.
The campaign intends to narrate stories about people who go through prostitution and sex trafficking.
The campaign is one of its kind on Tinder and uses the free service to spread the message across largest possible audience and people who might not be reached by other traditional sources.
