The families of three men from Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh met the Deputy Commissioner to ask for help in tracing their loved ones. Inderjeet from Lanj village, Sandeep from Dhameta and Aman from Passu village are reportedly stuck in Iraq and their family has no clue about their well being.

Pradeshi Ram, father of Inderjeet, says, "I have come here to discuss about my son with deputy commissioner of Kangra and we requested him to rescue my son from Iraq. He was working in Iraq since last nine months. Few days ago, my son in Iraq talked to my other son in Saudi Arabia and told him about situation but now we are not able to contact him. There are three boys from Himachal but we could not contact the family of the third boy from Dhameta village."

Aman and Inderjeet are working in a private construction company and have been in Iraq since last nine months. Now their families are not able to contact them so they are appealing to the government to rescue them.

Aman's brother Raman says, "We are here to see DC as we know that forty Indians are in trouble in Iraq and one of them is my brother. We got an assurance from local minister and administration that they will help us to bring them back to India."

C Pal Rasu, Deputy Commissioner of Kangra says, "I got information about two persons living in Mosul city in Iraq and they are working with TNH Company. Family members of Aman Kumar and Inderjeet are not able to contact them due to disturbance in Iraq. We know that government of India is also doing a lot of work in this regard to rescue those people who are disturbed due to internal problem in Iraq. We are also forwarding both the cases to the Ministry of External Affairs to take care of these two boys who have not been traced by the families from Kangra.
