Australian Test debutant James Faulkner has taunted the England side as 'boring', saying that the fans who paid 150 dollars-a-ticket to watch them batting on day three of the last and final Ashes Test deserve a refund.

According to News.com.au, rain washed out the entire fourth day, ensuring a draw, but England has managed to score at just two runs an over in its first innings, to resume at 4-247 on Sunday, still 245 behind Australia's 9-491 declared.

Joining Australian fast bowlers Peter Siddle and Mitchell Starc in slamming England, Faulkner said that although they chose to bat the way they batted even though there is no reason that they need not go 4-0 up in the series, the day was very boring for both Australia and the fans, who should get a refund on their tickets for Saturday.

However, Faulkner stated that he was not surprised by England's negative, go slow tactics, saying that England go into their shell and play defensive cricket whenever they are threatened, adding that England will be in for a 'hell of a challenge' when they come to Australia for the return series as then the game will be played on Australia's terms.

Hoping for the sun to come out for Australia to have a chance of winning at The Oval, the fast bowling all rounder also said that his team will try hard and play their cricket 'with a good shake' on Monday and win the Test without worrying about the opposition.

Expressing his disappointment over the weather, Faulkner further said that just like the third Test at Old Trafford, the weather wreaks havoc on their hopes when they managed to reach a good position to win the Test.
