Seems like Josh Trank's 'Fantastic Four' has disappointed superhero movies fans and critics as it opened to a dismal box office collection of 26.2 million dollars from 3,995 theaters.
It is being said that this is one of the lowest openings of all time for a big-budget superhero movie as the 120 million dollars tentpole has even lost the weekend crown to holdover 'Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation,' reported The Hollywood Reporter.
But this does not bring in any good news for the Tom Cruise starrer as it has also fallen to a mere 48 per cent in its second weekend to 29.4 million dollars from 3,988 theaters.
However, with a box office collection of 7 million dollars, Meryl Streep's 'Ricki and the Flash' has grossed some good reviews.
