Almost after five months of Harrison Ford's plane crash, a new report by the National Transportation Safety Board has revealed that the crash was caused by engine failure related to a loose part.

Commenting on the March 5 crash, the NTSB said that the carburetor's main metering jet became loose which likely stemmed from when the plane was rebuilt 17 years earlier, reported TMZ.com.

The report further revealed that the 73-year-old actor's shoulder harness was not properly reinforced, which contributed to the severity of his injuries.
