17 Grand Slam titles holder Roger Federer has kept steady in his run to the Cincinnati Masters title and has advanced to the semifinals after defeating Andy Murray 6-3, 7-5.
Federer will now face Milos Raonic, who easily advanced to semifinals after defeating Italy's Fabio Fognini 6-1, 6-0, The BBC reported.
Federer's fellow Swiss, Stanislas Wawrinka, suffered a shock 1-6, 6-1, 6-2 defeat by Julien Benneteau earlier on Friday.
Benneteau will now face seventh seed David Ferrer, who defeated fellow Spaniard Tommy Robredo 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, the report added.
