Swiss tennis ace Roger Federer has reportedly indicated that he may miss the French Open next month due to the upcoming birth of another child for him and wife Mirka Vavrinec.

Interestingly, the July 2009 birth of the former world No.1 twin daughters Myla Rose and Charlene Riva came with perfect timing, during the five-week gap between Federer's Wimbledon title and his pre-planned resumption in early August in Montreal.

According to Sport24, although Federer and his family have never revealed the actual date of the upcoming birth, the 17-time Major winner said that his family life would take precedence over any tennis match, adding that it is a priority for him to support his wife at the time of the birth.

Stating that he had played enough tennis matches, Federer also said that missing a tournament would not change anything for him, although he added that he is happy to be playing at the Monte Carlo Masters at the moment.

However, Federer said that it is too early to say whether he would be playing in the French Open or not.
