Alex Ferguson, who quit as Manchester United boss last summer after 26 years at the helm, has said under-fire manager David Moyes can still salvage the club's season with a strong run in the second half of the campaign.
Since retirement of Ferguson, United has struggled badly under new manager Moyes.
Moyes has so far failed to emulate Ferguson's winning reign at United.
United lie seventh in the Premier League and has been eliminated from both the FA Cup and Capital One Cup.
But Ferguson said he is not concerned, and attacked clubs who appoint managers then axe them soon after.
Ferguson said there is no limit to what United can achieve if they can turn on the style in the manner his teams so often did in the decisive final months of the season, Sport24 reports.
